So after less than an hour, we proceed to the field opposite our court and met up with the Ultimate Frisbee fanatics. =) And boy, those guys were HUGE! Tall and buff. Like rugby or American football players. Even the ladies looked healthy. Not too skinny not too fat. Just nice. We had Jaco to brief us slightly through in the beginning, which was then taken over by Ken and Angela.
Ken briefing us regarding Ultimate frisbee
We then got into pairs to practice passing the frisbee to each other. That was one of the most dangerous moments. Discs flying at all direction. I know 'cause I threw one and nearly hit Shawn's face and Cynthia's disc nearly hit mine. Hahaha. But it was fun. Ken said I look like a ballet dancer 'cause my back leg comes up when I toss the disc (and I shall take that as a compliment XP). After that, we got into 2 teams and the game began. Each team at their end zones
Each team has a total of 7 players allowed in the field and substitutions are only allowed between points, unlike floorball which you can come out whenever you're tired. The objective of the game is to pass the disc to your teammate at the opposing end zone and earn your team a point. The person holding the disc must not run and has only 10 seconds to pass the disc to another person. Sounds easy eh? BUT IT'S NOT!!!
However, it was really, really fun. Something very different from floorball in terms of tactics and positions, but when it comes to physical strength and speed, both Ultimate frisbee and floorball requires it.
To those of you who missed it, do come and join us and them again on the 22nd of November, at the football field right in front of Tanjung Aru Community Hall. =) Wear proper shoes (soccer shoes recommended), do not eat too much before the game, bring enough water, wear a cap if you're afraid of the sun, sunglasses are allowed if you wanna look cool, and come and have fun. =)

Just happened to come across this post, which was a good read. I hope you all enjoyed your Ultimate Frisbee session!
If you want to do more Ultimate Frisbee, there is probably a club nearby where you live, just look it up on Google (that is how I found my club years ago).
Most clubs will happily welcome new members and give you some free trainings to boot! If you decide to continue playing, the training fees are usually very low when compared to other sports.
Hope you guys enjoyed it all and continue playing!
